The new ROADflow Hosted system provides a traffic enforcement mechanism for the council’s ROADflow traffic management system. The software stores and processes data collected by the ROADflow cameras, providing a secure and resilient back-office solution.
As a trusted partner of GCC, there are now installations of SEA’s ROADflow traffic enforcement systems at ten different locations across the county. The strength of the partnership enabled SEA to support GCC when it required a new back-office management system to monitor and control its traffic enforcement.
“It was a very smooth transfer over to the ROADflow Hosted system in April during unprecedented circumstances, thanks to the support of the SEA team,” said Andrew Burford at Gloucestershire County Council. “The new cloud-based system removes the need for costly and space-intensive onsite architecture. The use of the ROADflow Hosted System has enabled far greater operational flexibility as enforcement reviewing can be undertaken at any of our contracted bases. “
Stewart Rogers, Head of Transport Solutions at SEA added, “ROADflow Hosted is the perfect solution when physical space, costs or other factors mean that onsite architecture for traffic enforcement management is not possible. Our cloud-based back-office system, supported by training and guidance from our experienced transport professionals, can not only reduce running costs but it also offers an easy to use interface to manage the operation of ROADflow technology.”
